Still in luxor, today we visited the Temple of Hatshepsut and the valley of the kings.
It was hot. It was faszinating. We had Emad as our guide (owner of the tour company: https://www.reiseninaegypten.com/) I can only speak of him in the highest respect – you won’t be able to find a better tour guide in Egypt I think – so we were lucky. I could write some long stories here – but in fact you need to visit to get the „feeling“ of these ancient treasures.
Then some time to chill at the pool deck of our ship, but before that, my parents were surprised by the crew with a really nice preparation of their cabin for the wedding anniversary.
Ah, by the way, I forgot to mention that they got a free update to one of the only two suits on the ship (at the very front of the ship). Really great.
And then there was another surprise during dinner, where the crew was singing and dancing and celebrating the anniversary with my parents. AND WE GOT CAKE!!! 🙂
