Not that many pictures, but was nice there. It’s a “volcanic lake” at 1500m asl. You can see the REALLY nice view from my hotel – first 4 pics (but in any other respect it has been the worst hotel of my trip 🙂 ).

What I did:

Altitude diving: Diving in this lake. It’s not Galapagos – but again very different. The sand is hot (and I mean you burn your fingers if you grap to deep into the sand) from the volcanos around. Also the lake rose like 7 meters in the last couple of years (goes up and down like 50 meters in 100 years – it’s normal). And as you might expect people have seen the “cheap properties” and bought them – started building houses and then the rain came 🙂
Therefore we could swim through buildings – see “swimming pools” under water – and my first under water BAR 🙂 (still, the dive shop needs to put some bottles of beers down there…)
I also made my “Altitude Diving Speciality” as there are a few things to consider when diving above 600m sealevel. Another certification for me 🙂

Paragliding:
Another thing I need to do after my trip. A tandem paraglide experiende with a french guy (living there since 26 years). So much fun. I really need to get a license in Tirol once I’m back home.
Hard to describe, therefore please see the video section 🙂
