Today Jeremy (the other divemaster candidate) and I hired a car + driver and covered A LOT of attractions of the Island:

We first stopped at the water temple of Taman Ayun – where we where still discussing whether it is a UNESCO world heritage site or just the area or Bali in general.
Nice temples – really!

Then we went to Jatiluwih to see the largest area with rice fields. OK.

Then to Git Git falls – some nice waterfalls which can compete with Hawaii – but not with Iguazu and JimJim Falls 🙂

Then to Ulun Danu Beratan – temples on a nice lake. Again very nice – moooore culture for me 🙂

Then to Tanah Lot – probably the most famous sight on Bali. A temple more or less “in the sea” – It would have been quite nice if there wouldn’t have been soooooo many people – too much for me 🙂

The driving itself through all this little villages was probably the biggest attraction for me today….
